Customers have mixed opinions about the comfort of the bicycle. Some mention that it's very comfortable, with comfortable seats and grips. My wife and I have over 8000 miles on this bike. We rode from Niagara Falls to Albany NY. We have ridden in the Keys of Florida. Riding a tandem helps improve communication with a couple.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great eBike for two
Reviewed in the United States on April 21, 2020
Bike arrived earlier than expected, which was appreciated. Packaging design is very adequate and allowed for 95% recyclables. The manual that came with the bike was adequate, but the front handlebar stem is different from the manual. It’s actually a higher quality one than shown. The gear settings were close as set in the factory, but will require some tweaking as it breaks in. Chain has jumped off the gears a few times. The gear change system is definitely lower end, which may get replaced if I can’t get it tuned properly. The bike comes with a good center stand which is very helpful when tuning the shifting system. It does not feel trustworthy at this time. I fit the large frame bike, i am 6’ 2” and 190 lbs. perfect size. The rear fits my wife who is 5’ 3” and 120 lbs. When we are riding the front shock rides about 1” depressed, which provides adequate operating range. If we were much heavier, I think the bike would require a heavier duty front end. The pedals are closer to the pavement than my mountain bike, and with a long frame, you have to cognizant of right and left turns, and what you are going over to prevent scraping them. The tires ride very well with the required 40 psig air. I will be adding left and right mirrors as well as front and rear lights for safety. I ride a motorcycle and feel uncomfortable without those items.
Update:
Added a 500W Ebikeling rear motor kit and other accessories. A perfect match, with added power margin, for the tandem bike with two of us aboard. I set a the set limiter at 32 kph (20 mph, required limit in New York State) and that keeps the bike speed at the highest level setting within the pedal cadence our legs can handle on top gear. Paired with a Joyisi 36 volt, 12.5 AH battery. I had to replace the stock gear shifters with SRAM MRX Comp 21 spd set, so I could install the kit's brake handles. Having the built-in kill switch functions in the brake handles is critical for safety. The disk brakes are acceptable, and worked very well after cleaning off the preservative, even with the bike fully loaded. The total weight on the tires as shown, is 70 lbs. Front is 33 lbs, rear is 37 lbs. With my wife and I, the total loaded weight is 380 lbs.
The bike as shown was upgraded with Amazon ordered parts:
1. Ebikeling 36 volt, 500W 26" Geared Rear Motor, with S830 LCD and Thumb Throttle.
2. Battery – Joyisi, Ebike 36 Volt, 12.5 Ah Battery for 500W bike.
3. Zefal Classic Mud Guards, bobbed.
4. SRAM MRX Comp 3X7 21 Spd Shifters (Allows for use of the motor kits brake levers)
5. Lights – Vont ‘Pyro’ Bike Light set.
6. Basket- Sunlight Standing Mesh Bottom Lift Off Basket,, Silver.
7. Mirrors- Mirrcycle MTB Bar End Mountain Bicycle.
8. Rear toe clips, Retrospec Bycycles.
